The BBC aired an interview with someone they thought was an internet expert but was in fact a cab driver. A producer had mistakenly picked him out of a crowd. Good stuff.

Oscar thoughts ... Some were surprised by the victory of three 6 mafia in the original song category. I saw it coming a mile away. How does anyone NOT vote for a song called "It's hard out here for a pimp"?! Said one oscar voter, "they had me at 'pimp'." In the performance of the song, I enjoyed the translation-for-TV of "bitches talking shit" to "withces jumping ship". I think i'm gonna work "witches jumping ship" into my vocabulary. But as far as the performances go, I was truly disturbed by the song from Crash. Forget the bad song and whoever was singing it all ballad-style; what was up with the burning car and interpretive dancers?? It was so .. weird. I found it really unsettling.
